The Ray Plunge Bra - Rust
Underwired, lace plunge bra available in rust.
Sustainably made in Yorkshire using natural materials.
Made to Order
We make our pieces to order which means sometimes it might be a couple of weeks before you receive them.
Designed For You
Designed For You
Our bras are designed with real bodies in mind, and we have spent months sampling and prototyping to ensure that our bras make you feel as supported and as comfortable as possible. The main features of the Ray bra are:
- Full bridge and cradle which spreads the weight around your body, thus putting less stress on your shoulders and making it easier on your back
- Fully adjustable shoulder straps and back straps that can adjust to accommodate up to three back sizes
- Flattering plunge shape
- Two part cup for a more accommodating fit
We also understand that some sizes require a little more to give the support you need, that's why we've made some changes to our bigger cup sizes. Sizes 34E/36DD/38D, 36E/38DD/40D and 38E/40DD/42D all have a three part cup (rather than two part) and feature wider elastic around the band and the straps to give you all the support you need.
The main material used in our bras is lace, and the one we use here at Daylight is soft, comfortable, and breathable, all whilst being completely biodegradable.
The elastic we use is also biodegradable being made from certified organic cotton and natural rubber. It’s completely plastic free, and has a longer lifespan than conventional elastics, thus adding to the longevity of your bra.
39% Biodegradable Polyamide, 30% Organic Cotton, 20% Natural Rubber, 7% Biodegradable Elastane, 2% Bamboo, 2% Rayon
Due to the use of Natural Rubber, our bras are not suitable for anyone allergic to latex.
We dye in house using GOTs certified dyes wherever possible. Dye is done small-scale so colours may vary from batch to batch. If buying matching products, please purchase at the same time to ensure they are made from the same dye batch.
All of our underwear is handmade from our HQ in Leeds, above Kirkgate Market. With a small team of skilled seamstresses, Daylight is the definition of slow fashion!
We use a small batch production model to ensure that we're creating as little waste as possible through our manufacturing process, and all our dyeing, cutting and sewing is done in house.
One backband for multiple sizes - our bras are also more widely size adjustable than most on the market, with each one being able to accommodate up to three back sizes.
One Daylight size will accommodate multiple bra sizes, meaning our product range is smaller whilst still being able to fit many bodies. For example the cup on a 32C is equivalent to that of a 30D and 34B. With our back design, one bra can fit all three of these sizes whilst remaining comfortable offering plenty of support.
This not only means it's fully adjustable but it also is more sustainable. By making a bra which can be worn by multiple sizes, we're creating less products. This means we can produce more efficiently and creates less waste.

We're sure you'll love your bra, but in case it doesn't fit we do offer returns. You can read about our returns/exchanges policy here.
